General Federation of Women's Clubs
General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC)
The General Federation of Women's Clubs is the parent organization to the Boise Columbian Club. The GFWC was founded in 1890 during the Progressive Movement. There are 45 states with nearly 80,000 members in the federation of women's clubs. The GFWC is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
